原曲：東方妖妖夢-人形裁判 ～ 人の形弄びし少女
Once upon a time, in a strange old land, there lived a young girl who was lovely indeed.
Her skin was as pale as fine white china, eyes as bright as blue glass beads.
All alone in an empty forest, the poor young girl could only pretend.
And so, out of anything that she could find, she decided to make her very own friends.
(“Alice, won’t you play with us?~”) ("愛麗絲，不和我們玩嗎?~")
(“Alice, make us real~”) ("愛麗絲，讓我們成真~")
(“Alice, spend a day with us~”) ("愛麗絲，和我們度過一天~")
(“Teach us how to feel~”) ("教我們如何感受~")
Their skin was made of china; their eyes were made of glass.
Together with these new human-shaped friends, the pleasant days would pass.
She played and spoke with them faithfully, as if they were living things…
Until one day, she looked down at her hands… and found, on ten fingers, ten magic strings…
On the strings, they would dance and spin…
With their blue glassy eyes and their white china skin.
Bonded as one, they would reach so far…
And thus doll and doll-maker newly awaken.
Her dolls would dance in delicate patterns, leaving trails behind them of rainbow light.
Before the girl knew it, a curious audience had gathered to see this beautiful sight.
(“Alice, Alice!”) (“Encore, encore!”)
(“Alice, Alice!”) (“More, more!”)
From out of the shadows these people emerged, so enchanted with the little girl’s show.
They began to dance and clap along, as if on invisible strings of their own…
So the world was a wonderland…
But the greatest of magic was there in her hand.
Who needs to wish on a distant star?
She has all she needs in her artful escape then.
Is this a dream, after all…
Of a strange doll-like girl, or a strange girl-like doll?
Each as they aren’t, never as they are…
Perhaps she, herself, human only in shape then?
